Follow these instructions to setup your daynight switch.
In the Enterprise vPBX phone console, click on Flows & Variables.
Then click the New Flow/Variable button.
Fill in the following fields:
Set the Variable value to 1, and by check above, you will know that this value signals the phone system that the switch is set to not in use. Then set the BLF Status to Not in use. Then click the Save button.
This Flow, assigned the number 864 and can be monitored with the BLF 864-DEVEL (DEVEL is the tenant code for the tenant used).
As you may have noticed, there is no destination for this Flow. Let's create a Custom Destination to toggle its status.
Proceed to Custom Destinations from the left menu. And click the New Destination button. Then under Type select the Toggle Extension state option. Give it a Name such as Flow 864. Then finally the Extension, the number to dial that triggers the switch to change state. e.g. 864. Then click Save button.
Now go back to the Flow you had created earlier to add the just created custom destination to the Flow. Under the Define Flow & Variable enter the Destination Toggle Extension state Flow 864, and select it to put it in place. Then click Save.
Finally you can use this Flow variable in a Condition to let the phone system know what you want it to do when the Values of the Flow changes. From the left side menu click on Conditions. And create a new condition.
Give it a Name. Select Variable value under Type. In Variable enter the name of the variable you gave in the Flow. Enter destinations accordingly, then click Save.
