How to create an Article using Kayako

This article will briefly explain how to create an article knowledgebase using Kayako.

 

1. Log in to Kayako.

2. On top click on Helpdesk and choose Knowledgebase on the drop-down menu.

3. Click on NEW ARTICLE

 

3. Choose PARENT CATEGORY and depending on the nature of the article, you can choose whether to choose INTERNAL, SUPPORT or HOW TO'S.

4. Compose the article.

5. To insert image/s, visit https://postimg.org and upload the image you want to insert.

6. Once the image has been uploaded, several info will be available. Copy the Direct Link provided.

7. To where you want to insert the image, right click on the area and choose INSERT IMAGE.

8. Paste the DIRECT LINK URL that was previously copied to the source field. Then click on Ok.

9. The image should now be inserted

10. An option to preview the article is available to check on how it should appear once published.

11. You can now save the article as draft or publish for viewing.
